The hotel room with a four-poster bed was a nice size, very clean, and conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from restaurants and bars. The room, located in the cottage, was peaceful and quiet without any road noise, although breakfast was not included.

The room with the four-poster bed was cozy and spotless in a peaceful cottage setting.
Service

The service encountered during my stay was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure I had a pleasant experience. They even accommodated my request for a sandwich when the kitchen was closed after a late walk into town.
Location
7.0
The location, while needing some tender loving care, was perfect for my visit. Being away from traffic noise in a room at the rear of the hotel made it ideal for a peaceful stay close to the bus station and town center.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had some highs and lows. While the food was tasty, the service was a bit slow, and there were issues with room facilities like the TV and unclear water instructions. Breakfast had some good options but lacked variety for the price paid.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were good but could use some improvement in terms of room amenities and dining service.

7.2/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although changed due to noise issues, was just quickly cleaned with a disinfectant cloth and suffered from being situated on the ground floor near a busy road without double glazing, making it very noisy. However, the service was excellent with a friendly and fun staff who went out of their way to provide a fantastic breakfast even after normal hours. The location was convenient, close to the university campus and walking distance from the city center. The dining experience, while decent, had some areas for improvement, and I found the facilities satisfactory overall.

Rooms
5.0
The room change due to noise issues helped, yet cleanliness with a disinfectant cloth was rushed. Noise from the busy road was a significant downside.

The hotel is set in a charming location ideal for visits, with lovely rooms furnished in antique style although needing some minor refurbishment. The service is top-notch with friendly and accommodating staff, making it a pleasant stay. Dining options had some small hiccups but offered tasty food. The overall value for money is reasonable considering the amenities provided.
